I only play Destiny 2, but at least in D2 it works without issue with my framerate between 170 to 140, I could see it having issues below that frame rate though.ĮLMB Sync does, as others have said, kill the brightness of the screen. REAL SRGB mode that I use most of the timeĪfter a calibration with iDisplay Pro the colors are not bad.ĮLMB Sync works really well, there is some double imaging and a slight dark train on quick moving object or when panning fast, but overall clarity is amazing. MUCH better black levels then IPS can display. If you track a single object as you pan that object stays clear as day. ![]() Zero ghosting save for insanely quick motions that were just a blur on the DELL Much faster than my Nano IPS screen based 2721DGF I was using. Don't throw facts at me as if they are insults! My experience is on a system with a 5800X, and RTX 3080 running at 2100mhz, playing only Destiny 2, que the jokes about D2 players playing nothing else. I had always found TN panels to be faster, so with that in mind I grabbed a VG27BQ and I am so happy I did. If anything changes or things start to go awry, I'll update promptly. I know there are way more advanced and higher def monitors out there, but this one works great for me. Playing Quality mode at 120 frames is an AMAZING experience. In the PS5 settings, put 120htz option on automatic, and make aure you turn on high frame rate mode in the in-game settings. ![]() The only High Framerate (120 Htz/FPS) game I have is G.O.W: Ragnarok. ![]() Plus, playing GTA omline, there was a tad bit of shadowing while driving fast, but it's hardly noticeable. The HDR works very well with the PS5, just know that the dark areas are DARK. As you can see from the pics, the colors pop vibrantly! Luminance and Ray Tracing are bright and reflective. Package was delivered timely, and the set up was easy. After some long research, I settled on the VG27AQ. Usually I use my T.V for all my gaming, but I decided to branch out and buy a gaming monitor. ![]() Reviewed in the United States on December 29, 2022 First Gaming Monitor Purchase, Works Great for PS5
